Our History
The practice opened in 1997 with enrolment at the Bar Council, and its first years were spent at Tis Hazari Courts — two under a senior advocate, then in an independent chamber taking criminal, matrimonial, civil and MCD panel work. It grew by referral rather than advertising, adding a chamber at Karkardooma in 2009, a presence across Delhi's district courts through the years that followed, and a Delhi High Court practice from 2015.
Nearly three decades on, the firm advises across twelve disciplines from three chambers in East Delhi — Karkardooma Court, Trilokpuri and Mayur Vihar Phase 1 — with eight partners and associates and a support team that manages compliance calendars, filings and hearing schedules. The scale has changed; the operating principle has not.

1997
Enrolment & Entry into the Legal Profession
The journey began in 1997, with enrolment as an advocate with the Bar Council. With determination and a commitment to the profession, the foundation of a lifelong journey in law was laid.
1997–1999
Tis Hazari Courts
The initial two years were spent working under a senior advocate at Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, gaining valuable courtroom experience and developing a strong foundation in litigation and advocacy.
1999–2000
Chamber at Tis Hazari
After gaining experience under senior guidance, an independent chamber was established at Tis Hazari Courts in association with professional colleagues.
During this phase, the practice also began handling matters connected with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) through the MCD panel.
2000–2009

A New Chapter
The next major milestone came with the allotment of a chamber at Karkardooma Courts.

I opened this practice in 1997 because I had watched too many clients receive advice they could not act on — technically correct, comprehensively hedged, and useless for deciding what to do on Monday morning. I wanted to build a chamber that answered the question the client actually asked.
That is harder than it sounds, because the honest answer is frequently unwelcome. It means telling a client with a genuine grievance that the limitation period has run. It means advising a company that the clause it relied on will not hold. It means recommending settlement to someone who came in wanting to fight. We have lost instructions over such conversations, and I would rather lose them that way.
What we offer is not a promise of outcomes — no advocate can honestly make one. It is a promise about process: you will know where you stand, what it will cost, who is handling it, and what happened at every hearing. Nearly three decades of clients returning, and sending their families and businesses to us, suggests that is worth more than any assurance about results.
